Virsa volunteers aim to enable youth to realize their potential by building self esteem, a positive image, leadership skills and also positive peer relationships.  If you are looking for a fulfilling volunteer experience, enjoy working with youth and consider yourself a positive role model that will motivate today’s youth, you are a candidate for our programs.

 

Volunteer Qualifications:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You have a valid criminal record check
  • You are able to commit to 2 hours a week for a three month term
  • You are a mature, stable, reliable individual who will be a positive influence to the youth

 

How to become a Frontline Volunteer:

1) Ensure you meet the qualifications above

2) Have a look at our different programs and see how you would like to be involved

3) Submit an online application

4) You will be contacted within 72 hours of submitting your application

5) Attend a screening interview

6) Obtain a valid criminal record check and we will conduct 3 reference checks

7) Attend a training session

8) You are now a Frontline Volunteer and can now participate in the program
