WHAT IS IT?

All Stars is a basketball program that runs in collaboration with the Delta Police Department and the Delta School District. Once a week, our drop-in program allows youth to practice their basketball skills, engage in friendly competition, and build rapport with the Virsa volunteers that oversee this program. The schedule changes quarterly so stay updated with our website.

HOW OFTEN?

This program currently runs once a week from 7pm – 8:30 pm at Burnsview Secondary School. Each session is 1.5 – 2  hours long so come shoot some hoops or scrimmage with us!

WHERE?

Check the calendar for location updates, but the All-Stars ususally runs out of the Burnsview Secondary School gym during the Fall and North Delta Secondary School gym during the Spring/Summer.

WHO SHOULD BE INVOLVED?

This is great program for teens in grade 8 – 12. In these two hour sessions, you get to come out and learn some new basketball techniques while engaging in some friendly competition with the Delta Police Department and Virsa volunteers. Anyone with a passion for the youth and loves to play basketball should be involved in this program. You get to be a positive role model, while engaging in some competitive basketball.

OKAY… BUT WHAT DO I GET OUT OF PARTICPATING IN THE PROGRAM?

Well, the obvious is, you get to partake in some fun active sport! And who knows?  You may just meet some pretty cool people who share your passion for basketball.
