
Aman Sahota
Programs and Marketing Coordinator/Co-chair Jr. Leadership Committee/Jr. Leadership Facilitator
Aman Sahota has been a part of the Virsa organization since August of 2006 and began as a volunteer mentor at the elementary schools in Vancouver. Over the years, she has continued working in the elementary schools as well as other areas and is currently the facilitator for the Junior Leadership Program at Moberly. Volunteering for Virsa along with other organizations has become a passion of Aman’s and she believes there is no better reward than the sense of self fulfilment you gain knowing you have made a positive impact within the community. She hopes to continue being a part of Virsa for years to come and has had the opportunity to see it grow into the remarkable organization it is today.
Inder Gill
Co-chair Jr. Leadership Committee/Jr. Leadership Facilitator
“To do something, however small, to make others happier and better, is the highest ambition, the most elevating hope, which can inspire a human being.” This inspirational quote, by John Lubbock, is a reminder of the impact one individual can have on another and a philosophy that Inder Gill strongly believes in.
Inder has been part of Virsa for over 5 years. She started off as a mentor in Virsa’s SOURCE mentorship program and now is a facilitator for the Junior Leadership program. Along with facilitating the program, she is also one of the co-chairs of Virsa’s Junior Leadership committee. She has a degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University and currently works for Inventa Marketing. Through strong dedication and immense drive, Inder continues to help the organization expand and develop.

Harman Mann
All-Stars Basketball Program Coordinator
Harman has been with Virsa for over two years, being an active volunteer and now the coordinator for the All-Stars Basketball Program. Having played basketball since high school, he constantly is encouraging students to come out and participate and enjoy the program. Outside of Virsa, Harman is a full time university student perusing a degree in Sociology and working as a part time DJ on the weekends. Furthermore, he works as a Surrey campus representative at the Kwantlen Student Association fulfilling students’ political and social needs. Lastly, along with Virsa, Harman volunteers for the North Delta Community Police Station and the North Delta Police Bike Team. As a well rounded, devoted individual Harman hopes to continue working with the All-Stars program and helping it grow.
Amber Sandhu
Mentorship Coordinator
