Inspirational Speaker Series

INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKER SERIES

Who has inspired you lately? Our inspirational speaker series aims to highlight a unique speaker every month. Individuals from various backgrounds and walks of life will share their successful and inspirational stories with the community. The program, while still in its infancy, is rapidly gaining popularity with a growing list of speakers. The upcoming sessions will feature Herb Dhaliwal in April; see below for more information on this inspirational individual.

Herb Dhaliwal was a Member of Parliament for the riding of Vancouver South – Burnaby, located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Mr. Dhaliwal was first elected to the House of Commons in 1993, representing the federal riding of Vancouver South. He has the rare distinction of being the first South Asian to hold a Ministerial position anywhere in a Western democracy. Prior to entering politics, Mr. Dhaliwal’s career as a small businessman and entrepreneur spanned more than 25 years in the private and public sectors.

To hear more about Herb Dhaliwal’s inspirational story, join us Tuesday April 27th at 5:30pm in Surrey at the Central City Blenz.
